The unique online platform that matches people who need help and support with the people who can provide that help and support.

Direct giving – on a one to one basis.

Supported by sponsors, agencies and professionals – ensuring full transparency, security and verification

In the UK Today

There are tens of thousands of funding requirements that are falling in between gaps, that are not supported by the welfare system, that local authorities are struggling to manage, and charities cannot get to.

The Giving121 platform provides an opportunity for such cases to be listed, and for an individual “giver” to help fund the requirement.

If you wish to support a case you do so on a one to one basis, your support directly pays for the stated requirement. You can look through the cases listed, learn about the requirement, connect with the sponsoring person/agency/charity or other institution and arrange your support. This means 100%* of your financial commitment goes to pay for that individual need to be met.

*The Giving121 platform fee may or may not be included; depending on the case, fees are a maximum of £12.50 per listing.

To provide security and verification, cases are only listed where there is a sponsor. The sponsor will have been checked and will have to be a suitable authority to list the case. They will be registered charities, local authorities, or other institutions. Everything is transparent.

Funding types and cases

Most cases are to fund something, not direct payment from one person to another. This may help a young adult with purchasing necessary equipment to support a health issue, provide a child with educational help, allow someone struggling to have healthy food, or to attend an event. There are multiple cases and causes that are supported by the platform.

Why this is different

The platform offers people who want to help the opportunity to provide support directly to a particular individual. There is no middleman, except the sponsor, and they are simply facilitating the situation, to offer security and reassurance. The idea and ethos of the Giving121 platform is that one person needs help, another person – who has the means and the desire to help – are put together so that A helps B.

Everything is matched through the Giving121 Platform, with multiple different types of cases, ranging from monetary values of £30 to many hundreds of pounds. As someone who may be able to provide help, you can do so at whatever level you choose, to whoever you want to help.
