Who checked this

Would be checked by a health charity.

Every live case has a sponsor: a charity, council, school, housing association or NHS team that already works with the person. The sponsor confirms the item and the price. We check each sponsor once, with a register lookup and a call to the organisation's main number.

How we check cases

What happens when you fund it

1

You tell us

On a live case, you fill in a short form. You don't pay anything yet, and we reply within 1 working day.

2

We connect you with the sponsor

By email. You pay the sponsor or the shop directly. The person never gets cash, and Giving121 never holds your money.

3

You get the receipt

The sponsor sends a receipt or a photo once the person has the item, and we pass it on to you.

One giver funds the whole case. If the item can't be delivered, you get your money back (from the sponsor, or the shop if you paid it), or with your OK it goes to the same person's next listed need.

We never show a person's name, photo or exact location. The area is the county at most, and the person approves the wording before it goes live.
